Please note that once an appointment has been booked, you are agreeing to Kitchen Appliance Repairs Terms and Conditions. Please ensure that you have read our terms and conditions before making an appointment. Our Terms and Conditions may be subject to change without notice, so please refer to them before each booking.
Kitchen Appliance Repairs have access to a wide range of parts, and we are customers to many suppliers UK wide. Our engineers carry parts with them, but should your appliance require a part that we do not have in stock we will order this in from our suppliers. Normally within 1 working day of your diagnosis we will contact you to advise you of how much your part will cost. If you agree to the cost your part will be ordered, and subject to availability delivery should be with us by the next working day. We will then contact you to arrange a suitable date to fit the part(s) and complete the repair. However, the manufacturer, appliance type, model, age and actual part required has an impact on how quickly we can obtain your replacement part. As most appliances are manufactured abroad some parts are still shipped in, rather than being stocked in the UK. This could result in delays which are outside of Kitchen Appliance Repairs control. If 4 weeks have past from the first call out, and the part has still not been received, either party has the right to cancel the repair, and the customer will receive a full refund of their diagnosis fee paid. It should also be noted that once a specific appliance is no longer made the manufacturer will only retain replacement parts for a given period.
Appliances Beyond Economical Repair
If an appliance is deemed to be beyond economical repair, and/or we are unable to obtain the parts required for your repair from our suppliers, we will refund you for any additional parts already purchased (these parts will have to be removed first), and half the labour charge paid (if applicable) If you have only paid for a diagnosis charge, no refund will made.
Please be assured that our engineers will do their best to prevent any damage to your property whilst undertaking a diagnosis, repair, service or installation.
Our engineers may need to move your appliance to gain suitable access for working, with this in mind we advise our customers that light damage to your flooring could happen.
If the customer will not take responsibility for damage of this nature, Kitchen Appliance Repairs may decide to cancel the job. Of course, the customer may move the appliance themselves to a suitable position for the engineer to work to avoid such occurrences.
Should the engineer cause damage by gross negligence, please report this to Kitchen Appliance Repairs office, before the invoice has been signed, and the engineer has left the property. Should you fail to follow these procedures; Kitchen Appliance Repairs will not take any responsibility for any such claim.
Payments are to be made directly to the engineer on site, immediately after a diagnosis, service, installation and/or full repair.
Kitchen Appliance Repairs accept BACS, cheque or cash payments.
Cheques should be made payable to Kitchen Appliance Repair Ltd.
BACS payment details: Acc Name: Kitchen Appliance Repair Ltd
Acc No. 59816145
Sort Code. 09-01-28
All parts remain the property of Kitchen Appliance Repair Ltd until payment by cheque is cleared.
If a cheque is returned unpaid or refer to drawer a £15.00 administration charge will be applied to the overall cost.
Kitchen Appliance Repairs guarantees all repairs for six months from the date the job is completed. (This includes parts and labour unless stated otherwise.)
The warranty covers the work carried out and parts replaced to cure the fault originally reported. This does not cover any new faults or issues that occur within the six months warranty period.
The warranty becomes invalid should the appliance be moved to a different address, or if the property has been sold to new owners who have inherited the appliance.
Booking and Cancellation Fees
Kitchen Appliance Repairs appointment times are booked on a three-hour-slot basis, and our engineer will arrive within that time to the address provided. If an engineer should be delayed, we will notify the customer as soon as possible. Any failure by the customer to attend an appointment without prior cancellation (more than 2 hours in advance) will result in a cancellation charge of £25. In the case of the reported appliance working at the time of the visit, a cancellation fee of £25 is payable to cover the engineer.
Kitchen Appliance Repairs reserve the right to cancel an appointment, service, repair or installation before or during the job, if any staff member is subject to physical or verbal abuse by the customer or any other persons at the property or site.
Kitchen Appliance Repairs understand that although we aim to deliver the best customer service possible, there may be occasions where we have failed to meet our own expectations.
